NOMINATION “FOR SOLIDARITY”

On 26 May 2022, the most outstanding participants of the 12th Klaipėda Ship Parade were announced and awarded. Among the favourites of the commission was the fisheries control vessel Vakaris of the Fisheries Service under the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Lithuania. The vessel and its crew were awarded the nomination “For Solidarity” for their blue and yellow decorative accents.

Vessels registered in advance for the parade were eligible for nominations such as audience favourites, most creative, most cheerful and most colourful vessels. This year, 47 vessels participated. The most impressive vessels were selected by a specially formed commission. Spectators watching the event were also able to vote for the vessels they liked the most.

NOMINATION “FOR ELEGANCE AND GOOD MOOD”

On 23 May 2019, the most outstanding participants of the 10th Klaipėda Ship Parade were honoured. Among the winners was the vessel Vakaris of the Fisheries Service under the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Lithuania. The vessel and its crew were awarded the nomination “For Elegance and Good Mood”.

Vessels registered in advance for the parade were eligible for nominations. This year, the number of nominations matched the number of years of the Klaipėda Ship Parade — 10. A record number of vessels participated that year — as many as 69.

The most impressive vessels were selected by a specially formed commission. Spectators watching the event live online were also able to vote for the vessels they liked the most. In total, more than one and a half thousand spectators voted.
