The European Fisheries Control Agency is a European Union agency. The agency’s mission is to promote the highest common standards for control, inspection and surveillance under the CFP. Its primary role is to organise coordination and cooperation between national control and inspection activities so that the rules of the CFP are respected and applied effectively.
Eurostat is an institution of the European Union tasked with collecting, analysing and providing statistical information. Information of the statistical office of the European Union is used for drafting European Union legislation.

Baltic Sea Regional Advisory Council is a Community body aimed at advising the European Commission and EU Member States on matters relating to management of the fisheries in the Baltic Sea. Polish Stanislaw Sakowicz Inland Fisheries Institute (IFI)
It cooperates in rebuilding and preserving fish stock in inland waters, introduction and adaptation of farming technologies for new fish species. It introduces breeding technologies for promising and high value fish species (salmonid, sturgeon, etc., fish), trains inland aquaculture specialists. It plans implementing joint programmes in the above areas.
