2026-01-06 – Employees of the Fisheries Service participated in a meeting organised by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Lithuania on processes for creating a corruption-resistant environment.

2025-12-11 – The employee of the Fisheries Service responsible for corruption prevention in the institution participated in the event “How to Recognise Prohibited Agreements in Public Procurement: Practical Advice”, organised by the Competition Council of the Republic of Lithuania. The training was conducted by Vaida Černauskaitė, Adviser of the Prohibited Agreements Investigation Group of the Competition Council.

2025-09-23 – The employee of the Fisheries Service responsible for corruption prevention in the institution participated in the event “Whistleblowers’ Forum 2025”, organised by the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Lithuania. The topic of the event was Internal Channels for Reporting Violations: Practical Aspects of Implementation and Operation. During the event, presentations were delivered by representatives of the European Commission, EDHEC Business School, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Lithuania and the Prosecutor General’s Office.

2025-04-08 – Employees of the Fisheries Service completed the ninth training module on the e-learning platform of the Special Investigation Service: supervision of economic operators. After completing the training, they received certificates confirming their participation.

2024-10-01 – The employee of the Fisheries Service responsible for corruption prevention in the institution participated in training organised by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Lithuania on the topic “Creating an Anti-Corruption Environment in an Organisation”, conducted by a representative of the Special Investigation Service of the Republic of Lithuania.

2024-10-01 – Employees of the Fisheries Service completed the eighth training module on the e-learning platform of the Special Investigation Service: public procurement. After completing the training, they received certificates confirming their participation.

2024-05-31 – Employees of the Fisheries Service completed the seventh training module on the e-learning platform of the Special Investigation Service: the national anti-corruption system. After completing the training, they received certificates confirming their participation.

2024-05-30 – Employees of the Fisheries Service participated in training organised by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Lithuania on the topic “Whistleblower Protection in Lithuania: Practical Aspects of the Application of the Law”, conducted by representatives of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Lithuania.

2024-04-23 – The employee of the Fisheries Service responsible for corruption prevention in the institution participated in the remote event of the Transparency Academy initiative “Reports on Wrongdoing: From Theory to Practice”. During the event, participants presented the main principles of internal reporting channels, requirements established in legal acts and reporting methods, and shared real examples of the implementation of internal reporting channels in organisations. Representatives of the Prosecutor General’s Office, the Customs Department under the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Lithuania, Lietuvos paštas and Rimi Lietuva shared their experience. 2024-04-22 – Employees of the Fisheries Service completed the sixth training module on the e-learning platform of the Special Investigation Service: corruption prevention for society. After completing the training, they received certificates confirming their participation.

2024-04-16 – The employee of the Fisheries Service responsible for corruption prevention in the institution participated in a methodological assistance event organised by the Special Investigation Service on the topic “Theoretical and Practical Aspects of Preparing Corruption Prevention Action Plans”. 2024-03-19 – The employee of the Fisheries Service responsible for corruption prevention in the institution participated in a methodological assistance event organised by the Special Investigation Service on the topic “Determining the Probability of Corruption Occurrence”, intended for employees of public sector entities responsible for creating a corruption-resistant environment and for employees assigned the functions of determining the probability of corruption occurrence. 2024-02-08 – The employee of the Fisheries Service responsible for corruption prevention in the institution participated in the remote event of the Transparency Academy initiative “Anti-Bribery Standard ISO 37001: What Is It and How Does It Work in Practice?”. The event focused on the requirements and guidelines of the anti-bribery standard for organisations seeking to establish, implement and improve a management system aimed at reducing corruption risks, why organisations choose to implement the anti-bribery standard, and the main steps and actions needed for its proper implementation and certification. Representatives of CPO LT, Lietuvos geležinkeliai and Oro navigacija shared their experience in implementing and applying the ISO 37001 anti-bribery standard in practice. 2023-11-16 – The employee of the Fisheries Service responsible for corruption prevention in the institution participated in the conference “Uncovering Transparency: From the Fight Against Corruption to a Culture of Transparency in the Public and Private Sectors”. The aim of the conference was to share insights, ideas and views on how to achieve greater transparency, disseminate information about it, discuss whether the public and private sectors understand transparency, its importance and benefits, or possibly its burden, in the same way, and consider what has been learned and what could be done better. The conference was attended by representatives of various sectors, policy makers, researchers and experts from Lithuania and abroad, who addressed the issues raised and shared different experiences, perspectives, expertise and visions.

2023-10-10 – Employees of the Fisheries Service completed the fifth training module on the e-learning platform of the Special Investigation Service: whistleblower protection. 2023-09-26 – The employee of the Fisheries Service responsible for corruption prevention in the institution participated in the remote event of the Transparency Academy initiative “Corruption-Resistant Legal Acts: How Can This Be Achieved?”. During the event, an employee of the Corruption Prevention and Internal Investigations Division of the Ministry of Justice presented the rules for anti-corruption assessment of legal acts and regulatory innovations; a representative of the Corruption Prevention Board of the Special Investigation Service presented aspects of the anti-corruption assessment of legal acts carried out by the Special Investigation Service, the main risks identified and trends observed; and a representative of the Organisational Development Division of the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport presented the actions taken by the Ministry to ensure the effective implementation of this measure. 2023-09-20 – Employees of the Fisheries Service completed the test prepared by the Special Investigation Service “Can You Tell the Difference Between a Gift and a Bribe? Do You Know How to Act Correctly When You Want to Thank Public Sector Representatives?” The link to the test is available here.

2023-08-31 – Employees of the Fisheries Service completed the fourth training module on the e-learning platform of the Special Investigation Service: gift policy. After completing the training, they received certificates confirming their participation.

2023-07-31 – Employees of the Fisheries Service completed the third training module on the e-learning platform of the Special Investigation Service: conflicts of interest. After completing the training, they received certificates confirming their participation.

2023-06-26 – Employees of the Fisheries Service registered on the e-learning platform of the Special Investigation Service and completed the second training module: corruption-related criminal offences. After completing the training, they received certificates confirming their participation.

2023-05-19 – Employees of the Fisheries Service registered on the e-learning platform of the Special Investigation Service and completed the first training module: the concept of corruption. After completing the training, they received certificates confirming their participation.

2022-11-16 – Employees of the Fisheries Service were introduced to training materials prepared by the Special Investigation Service on the topic “Measures Increasing the Effectiveness of Business Supervision and Reducing Corruption Risk”. Presentation materials are available here.

2022-11-15 – The employee of the Fisheries Service responsible for corruption prevention in the institution participated in the remote event of the Transparency Academy initiative “Risk Management: Opportunities in Creating a Corruption-Resistant Environment”. During the event, a representative of AB Litgrid gave a presentation on risks, their management and the benefits of risk management; a representative of the Special Investigation Service presented updated recommendations on determining the probability of corruption occurrence and the procedure for carrying it out; and representatives of the State Enterprise Centre of Registers and AB Lithuanian Radio and Television Centre shared their experience in risk management within organisations when creating a corruption-resistant environment. 2022-08-09 – Employees of the Fisheries Service responsible for corruption prevention in the institution participated in a meeting, training session, of the Special Investigation Service of the Republic of Lithuania on recommendations for the procedure for determining the probability of corruption occurrence. The training was conducted by the Head of the Corruption Risk Division of the Corruption Prevention Board. Participants included representatives of municipalities of the Republic of Lithuania, employees of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Lithuania, employees of institutions subordinate to the Ministry of Agriculture, and others.
