Ex Post Evaluation of the Impact of Existing Legal Regulation

In accordance with Article 24¹(1) of the Law on the Legislative Framework of the Republic of Lithuania, ministries carry out ex post evaluations of the impact of existing legal regulation within the areas assigned to the respective ministers. Paragraph 2 of the same Article provides that state and municipal institutions and agencies shall, within their competence as established by legal acts, provide the information necessary for carrying out such ex post evaluations to the institutions referred to in Paragraph 1.
