Quality Management System

Since 2018, the Fisheries Service under the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Lithuania (hereinafter – the Fisheries Service) has operated a Quality Management System (hereinafter – QMS) certified in accordance with the requirements of the LST EN ISO 9001:2015 standard. The main objective of the QMS is to ensure efficient service delivery and the prompt resolution of outstanding issues.

The implementation process of the QMS was audited by the independent auditor UAB TÜV Uolektis between 29 November and 12 December 2017. The Fisheries Service was awarded the certificate on 21 February 2018.

Independent surveillance audits of the Fisheries Service's QMS were conducted by TÜV Thüringen e.V. from 2018 to 2021, by UAB Bureau Veritas Lit from 2021 to 2023, and since 2023 by UAB Sertika.

  • Considerable attention is given to the involvement and engagement of employees participating in QMS processes.
  • Relevant information is provided to clients clearly, specifically, and in a timely manner.
  • Information system modules used in the organisation's activities are continuously improved.
  • The organisation's values are well understood and applied by all representatives of the organisation interviewed during the audit.
