Eastern Region Pisciculture Division

The Eastern Region Pisciculture Division comprises two subdivisions: Žeimena, located in Meškerinė, and Trakų Vokė. Since 1998, the Eastern Region Pisciculture Division has specialised in breeding and rearing salmonid fish under recirculating aquaculture system conditions, hereinafter referred to as RAS. These include sea trout, salmon and brown trout. In 2015–2016, the breeding of grayling and barbel was launched, and since 2019, common nase have also been bred.
