Recusal and Removal

In accordance with Article 11(4) of the Law on the Adjustment of Public and Private Interests, information on the recusal and removal of the Head of the Fisheries Service is published:

By Order No. 3P-24 of the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Lithuania of 28 January 2022, in order to avoid a possible conflict of interest, the Director of the Fisheries Service under the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Lithuania was removed from participation in the preparation, consideration and adoption of decisions related to civil case No. E2-946-1032/2022, examined by the Klaipėda City Chamber of Klaipėda District Court, concerning the signing of a settlement agreement on behalf of the third party — the Fisheries Service under the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Lithuania.
